How to Help


Vote!
To get registered to vote, you must complete an Ohio Voter Registration Form. Voter Registration forms are available at any registration site, including the library, or online from the Ohio Secretary of State website.

Donate
Most Ohio libraries accept monetary donations or donations of books and other materials. Additionally, some libraries have a foundation, which helps to support the library with additional funds.

Join Friends of the Library
Many Ohio libraries have a group called Friends of the Library. These are a group of dedicated volunteers who support their library through fundraising, advocacy and awareness. Typically, there is a small membership fee to join a Friends group.

Volunteer
Many Ohio libraries use volunteers for a variety of different jobs. Volunteers shelve books, sort donated books, assist with events and do a variety of other jobs to help their library.
