Due to the major budget cuts at the state level, many public libraries in Ohio have a levy or bond issue on the ballot for the first time this fall. Find out if your public library is on the list and follow the links for more information about how you can help support your local library in their campaign efforts. Help Save Ohio Libraries!

The Community Library in Sunbury Ohio is having a rally on Oct. 17th from 12-1 to show support for the library. We are encouraging people to come even if you are not from Sunbury. We need to have a large turnout!

Somehow the phrase in the constitution, “For the People…” has been left out of the government battles. All I have to do is walk a few blocks to see what jobs are available. Instead of spending money for gas on a 12 mile drive. I see people in my community here at the library. You want to cut the library budget and education money. How about cutting that salary of yours or putting your children into public schools. Oh that’s right you represent the common man. So all of us should be able to put our kids into private school.
